This policy explains how BNQ InTech (OPC) Private Limited (“WBEE”, “we”), operator of www.wbee.global and its employer and admin sites, collects and uses personal data. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and respect equivalent laws (such as the GDPR) for users in other countries.
What we collect
- Account details: name, e-mail, password (stored only as a secure hash), country and city.
- Your profile and resume: headline, summary, experience, education, skills, languages, work authorisation, expected salary, phone (optional), and files you add (photo, certificates, video resume).
- Employer details: company name, registration numbers (CIN, PAN, GSTIN, LEI and others), addresses, contacts, verification documents, logo and company profile.
- Activity: applications, messages, interviews, which employers opened your profile, and security logs (IP address, time, action).
- Payments: the amount and the UPI / bank transaction reference you give us. We never receive card numbers or bank passwords.
Why we use it
- To match candidates and jobs, and to let you apply, message and schedule interviews.
- To verify employers, jobs and credentials, and to keep the platform safe from fraud.
- To send service e-mails (confirmations, applications, interviews, reminders). We do not send marketing without your consent.
- To meet legal duties (tax, accounting, lawful requests).
Who can see your data
Candidates decide, in Resume Builder › Privacy, who may see the profile, phone and e-mail, resume, certificates and video, whether the name shows before applying, and which companies must never find the profile. Only employers verified by WBEE with an active Employer Plan can see candidates’ names, contacts and resumes. Every employer view is listed for the candidate. Candidate profiles are never shown to search engines.
Our staff see data only as their role needs (for example, verification). We use trusted processors: DigitalOcean (hosting, servers in Bengaluru, India), Brevo (e-mail delivery) and Anthropic (AI features — only the text needed for an AI task you start). Processors may not use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. When you delete your account we erase the profile, files and applications within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep (such as payment records, kept for 8 years) and security logs (kept up to 1 year).
Your rights
- See and correct your data at any time in your account.
- Delete your account and data.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing.
- Nominate a person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
- Complain to our Grievance Officer (see Grievance redressal) and, if unresolved, to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, private file storage with access checks on every request, sign-in that ends when the browser closes, restricted staff access over a secure network, daily backups and audit logs.
Age
WBEE is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
We will announce material changes on this page and by e-mail before they take effect. Questions: support@wbee.global.
