Execute daily accounting activities, Tally records, GST/TDS taxation compliance, invoicing, and account reconciliations to ensure smooth financial operations for our FMCG & E-Commerce brand.
At Meekoo (meekoo.in), as an Accountant, you will handle day-to-day transaction records, bank reconciliation, tax filing systems, and prepare monthly accounts. In year one, success means streamlined invoicing, flawless GST/TDS filings, precise ledger accuracy, and timely coordination with partners and the leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Process day-to-day financial data and account booking on Tally.
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor/client ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and make tax audit preparations.
- Examine and handle invoices, bills, payables, and inventory values.
- Draft accurate financial reports (Profit & Loss, Cash flow, Ledger details).
- Cooperate with auditors and senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Commerce (B.Com) or related degree.
- 2+ years of practical experience with Tally accounting software and MS Excel.
- Comprehensive understanding of GST, TDS, taxation systems, and financial bookkeeping.
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to FMCG/Retail or E-commerce inventories.
- Audit assist or CA-Firm training is a strong plus.
